"In a murderous time the heart breaks and breaks and lives by breaking"

Fine Katie, but I'm not tagging anyone, because I'm...too lazy to think of names?

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your Livejournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

1) The Junkie Song - The Be Good Tanyas
2) Baba O-Riley - The Who
3) Atmadja - Cirque du Soleil
4) The Letter That Never Came - Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
5) Picture Postcard - Melissa McClelland
6) Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson
7) How To Not Be With You - Josh Young

I tag: NO ONE! MWAHAHA

so, yet again, avoiding analyzing Stanley Kunitz's The Testing-Tree, which is a beautiful poem and hard as hell to wrap around AinA.
and novo said it leads to nothing
which she seemed excited about
but i personally don't get.

His poem "The Portrait"

She locked his name
in her deepest cabinet
and would not let him out,
though I could hear him thumping.
When I came down from the attic
with the pastel portrait in my hand
of a long-lipped stranger
with a brave moustache
and deep brown level eyes,
she ripped it into shreds
without a single word
and slapped me hard.
In my sixty-fourth year
I can feel my cheek
still burning.

it's so powerful.
ahhhh
why is that so easy to analyze, oh right! because it's about his father who committed suicide 3 weeks before he was born.
that's why.

So my room is a mess, and my parents are apparently going to throw out everything that is on my floor, unfortunately, everything is on my floor.

ah the promises that parents make and never keep...

though it is true, i really should clean my room.

ok, more interesting things have come up.
like, talking to people and not to a livejournal.

heh.
