Well, I re-discovered my LJ, and it is beautious...I missed it.
Hi livejournal, you are my love!
Well, life has been great since the last time I updated...it has been truly a blessing to have such an amazing life.
Sarah is a blessing in my life and I couldn't be any happier with that (except for the useless and meaningless crushes she has on other people, note i don't actually care about them)
Last night was the 1st ever annual GSA Pride Dance!
OMG IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!! Just, the atmosphere alone could have sent you to the moon
I have never felt comfortable showing ANY kind of public display of affection (even holding hands) with Sarah, and both of us were perfectly comfortable, and...we danced together, looked at each other afterwards and were like..."OMFG! We actually did that!!? We can actually do that?!!!" AAh! the libertation of a GSA dance!
So, of course I'm in a great mood, and I've been like...flying on all this great stuff.
But, I missed my LJ, so...now my life is complete! I will try to update more often....i really will.
Ok, I saw this show done by Pig Iron Theater Company (Terry=drama teacher, she is the president of the board of directors and we have worked with two of the founding "fathers" and they were in the show and were fucking fabulous!) THE SHOW WAS AMAZING!!! It's called:
James Joyce Is Dead And So Is Paris: The Lucia Joyce Cabaret.
The music is amazing! It was amazing. It was life inside an asylum and Lucia Joyce (daughter of James Joyce who wrote Ulysses, and she was put in an asylum at 29 by her father for schizophrenia and died there at 75 with 1 visit the whole time...yeah...) And, it was the atomsphere of an asylum, like..the actors were milling around the audience and talking to them, being there characters..it was great! It is a rock cabaret really. You go in to watch the asylums Cabaret show. OMG, and they tour...so...outside phillyers, go to www.pigiron.org, but...oops...they finished touring here...cause they always end in philly @ headquarters. Anyway, their next project is Measure for Measure, set in a morgue and everyone is naked...yup. ALl of their shows are fantastic though...
AHHHH! I will leave on a quote from the Cabaret (the title is one also):
"You can have the whole world,
just leave some space for me.
I'll be there where you left me
Staring at the sun" -"In Vain"
