I had quite the weekend! It was one of the best weekends I have had in a while. I have to be honest November all around has been pretty awesome. First I got to travel to the mountains for a week for a workshop/class in Asheville. Then Obama got elected (woot!)... and then just in general things have been good.

This weekend was the Twilight opening, which I had been getting pretty excited about (as anyone who has seen/talked with me in the last few months would know). I have become a Twilighter, hardcore, despite the fact that I am not a teenage girl (at least I used to be one...). So Friday, Kelly, Phi and I donned our "Team Edward" hoodies I had made earlier in the week and went to see the movie. It was great fun and the 3 of us had a blast. It's so much fun when you can turn going to a movie into an event like that.

Kelly, Phi and I ready to see Twilight & this awesome pic Phi took of me.

Saturday was not without its excitement too! First Phi and I went shopping... I had to get some jewelry to match with my new top and she wanted to look at shoes. So we were off being girly and then ended up at a wine tasting which was pretty cool. The guy who was serving us was asking Phi if she had had a lot of coffee today and I just looked at him and said, "nope, thats just how she is!" It was fun.

After that I met up with my family and we all went out for dinner and then went to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This was our 4th time seeing them in concert. It has become a bit of a tradition in our family to see them every year at the holidays. This year Dad got us tickets in the 7th row! It was really cool to see the show up close. I know its a different effect from far away with all the lights - but its a whole other effect that close up. I loved it.

Sunday I spent mostly at home being completely domestic. I loved it. I got a chance to knit and finished up Calorimetry. It's a sort of head wrap but that your hair can hang out the back. I was happy with how it turned out. I wanted it to wear when I got running so that my head doesn't get too cold! That evening Kelli had Phi and I over for a neighborhood Thanksgiving. It was delicious and lots of fun to do with my friends.

All and all I had a fabulous weekend. Now only 2 days of work before another 5-days off!  Plus even better - Rhi is coming to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family this year, which I am totally stoked about!  Yay!
