My first 10 miles...

This week Jason and I are taking the basic rider course over at Wake Tech. And today, for the first time, I actually drove a bike! It was quite exciting! I have to say after a day on the course I am EXHAUSTED. I only rode 10.2 miles today, but my body aches strangely. My brain has actually turned to mush. I seriously do not think it can contain any more new information... not till tomorrow at least! I did manage to dump my bike today. First thing actually. We had just mounted them for the first time and then we were supposed to lean them a little to the left and right. I leaned too far to the left and kept thinking my side stand was there... however it was not. The bike and I went down. I was fine and my ego was the only thing that got bruised. The rest of the day went well.

I suppose it must be a good time for me to learn new things... this seems to be the recent theme. I am also taking a Spanish class through DPS taught by Durham Tech. It is a basic Spanish class - how to communicate with someone basically. So far it is a lot of fun! I do enjoy learning a new language! In addition I am also taking a doggy obedience class with Sawyer. Yes, it is supposed to teach him obedience but also to train me what to do with my wayward pup!

Speaking of Sawyer he is doing great. He is such a sweet puppy. He is getting better at listening to me and he is just such a big sweetie. Everywhere I go he follows. He loves cuddling and being affectionate. The other day Kate and I took him to the playground and he went down the slide with me. He actually liked it and now keeps trying to get me to take him back.

A random side-note that amused me. In both my Spanish and bike class there is another person in it with my birthday. I just think its funny that in the last 2 days I have met two people with my b-day...

Ok... I am soo sleepy and now obviously rambly... Time to go and do NOTHING!
