Nathans Rap Debut
This weekend Nate played in the Battle of the Bands in Raleigh. My parents and Jas and I went to see him and his band. They were pretty good. They did some cool covers of Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Led Zeplin. But the highlight of the show - for me at least, was when Nate came out from behind the drum set and up to the mike. He apparently had something special in store for us. He said he had a special tribute to Tupac and Hand Banana and started raping the Aqua Teen Hunger Force theme. It was awesome. My brother is the man. He makes me so proud. I of course being the nerd I am - taped the rap. Watch for yourself!
Click to viewThe rest of the weekend was really nice too. It was very low key and chill - which was just what I needed after our last weekend in Asheville. I got my photos ready for the fair. I ended up getting prints of the shot of Nicole jumping and of the cherries (thanks by the way to everyone who gave me their imput - either here or on facebook it was tres helpful!).
