I had a crazy day yesterday. I went to work as usual and when I got off Viet asked me to go to El Charro with him to eat. We went there and ate and I ordered a 26 oz margarita and a small pina colada and he got a Corona. They didn't even card me so I am going to go there a few times before my birthday. I got little toasted and he dropped me off at the house and I came home to find the new Incubus cd had arrived! I like it alot even though it doesn't sound like them that much but it's still good because I am a huge Incubus fan! Hopefully, I'll get to see them in concert this summer.
Swich, Koop, and there old friend, Tyler, all came by and we stopped by at Guitar Center to phuck around on the drums.
Long story....on the way there Swich was playing with some drum sticks in Koop's car. When we got there, Swich immediately jumped on the drums and so I figured he had brought some of his own sticks to play with. I was one of the last ones to get on the set and I got on there and no more than 5 minutes of playing, one of the guys that ran the drum department came over and told me to stop while reaching for the sticks. I pulled away and he kept telling me to give them to him and I kept saying they wasn't his and that they were my friends. The guy got real frustrated and then called me a c*nt and a fuckhead. I was in shock and almost beat him across the head with the sticks but Swich said they wasn't his. I felt like an idiot for half a second until I thought back to the guy cussing at me. So, instead of throwing the sticks at him or beating him with them or cussing him back out, I walked over to one of the managers up front and told him about it. He immediately took care of the situation and told the guy that if he fucked up again that he'd be fired. I was hoping that the guy would've got fired there on the spot and he phucking should have because that was just ridiculous! He made the guy apologize to me and he did.....twice. I accepted his apology but still, deep inside I felt that if he can't handle people playing drums in his department and can't handle a situation like that then he doesn't need to be there. What an ass!
But Swich took pictures of it all and on top of that took pictures of all of us drumming. I thought that was elite and it makes it more elite that they will be in black in white. Obviously, he has photography class at Murphy. He's my boy!!
After that, we went by Kaoz to fix the loop in my ear because the ball had came the day before. I get there and, surprise,George is working. The coolest piercer I know and funny thing is he was in the same class {2001 baby!} at Murphy. I wish I would've known him before. At Kaoz, he notified me that I could go ahead and get some plugs in my ears and I was excited about that cuz I thought I had to wait a little longer. I looked at all of the plugs and none interested me except some 8 gauge blue stained glass plugs. So,I went for those and it turned out he didn't have the tool for an 8 gauge so I had to go find a 6 gauge and I didn't like it but it'll only be temporary until I go to New Orleans and find some wood or bone type plugs. Now think about this....I am going froma 10 gauge to a 6. THAT'S A BIG STEP! It was SO painful. It was more painful than getting the piercing. He had to squeeze that motherphucker in there and he told me before hand it was going to be hell. So, throws his 6 gauge tool in my ear to stretch it and prep it for the plug and I squint and balls of sweat run down my whole body within the second of the pain. Swich did take pictures of this too and I can't wait to see my expressions.LoL! I started bleeding really bad and it was felt weird but this drop of blood spattered on my right forearm in the coolest effect and Swich took a pic of that as well. So, he put the plug in and cleaned me up and then I payed and left with the guys to head back to Swich's house.
George really hooked me up too....I got both plugs and the labor for $18 but I hooked him up with a sweet $5 tip cuz he's my boy like dat. They look cool though, just can't wait to get some better plugs.
Tomorrow, Jim Breuer is coming to the Mitchell Center and I got two tickets to it so I invited Viet from work to go so I am going to drink some liquor before I go and have a laughing good time.Hell yeah! Peace out everyone!
