Letter to the Eulogist...
Dear Reverend Al Sharpton,
I would like to take a moment and express what I feel are pertinent concerns that I have for the eulogy you gave today for the late Michael Jackson.
The words you said on Jackson's behalf were wonderful. And yes, it is great African Americans like Michael Jackson that have helped to break down the walls of racial discrimination in this country. However, I believe that focusing on his race as the triumph of his life does not accurately assess all he has contributed. Michael Jackson was not just the black entertainer, he was the american entertainer.
