Just caught a couple of movies that people may be thinking about seeing:
Invincible : American Football movie starring Mark Whalberg. Plenty of smaltz and cheese, but a great true story about a bar tender who played for the Eagles in the 70's. One for the American Football movie archive.
Crank : Jason Statham vehicle. Paper thin plot. Bad one liners. Action non-stop, provided by the dues-ex-machina of some hookey drug that means Jason must keep moving. Watch for the china-town sex scene thats possibly the most outrageous thing I've seen on film. That's not a good or bad thing, but just a thing. If you want anything better than cheesey, low budget action flick, look elsewhere.
