There's been serious flooding and landslides to south of here between Tacoma and Portland. The main interstate between Canada and Mexico is blocked. Course, these flood were supposed to have been prevented but money raised was diverted elsewhere when federal funding went to fight wars...
To North, it's snowed, and there's avalanches in the British Columbia interior, while up island (as it's called) there's a good 6-8 inches making life interesting for some of the more remote towns.
We got the edges of the Pineapple Express (as it's called), but with the mountains to the south and north, most of it missed Victoria. Got a tad damp outside, and it was miserable, but hardly extreme.
Odd, seeing different weather. Makes me feel like I really have moved.
