yes, she has returned and she's back with a bang! My computer is ALIVE!!! Considering my computer is preety much the frankenstien's monster of computers she is speedy and hotter then ever, her new-ish features include:
a) 15g extra space! woo, i've got a new hard drive in there soooooo she's looking super fine *winks*
b) a dvd/cd wrtier for all my piracy needs!
c) the software to rip dvds and get rid of all the anti copy stuff on there (shhh- don't tell the police okay?)
d) winamp, because media player does in fact suck and like hell i'm gonna get itunes!
soo, YEEEEEYYYY!!! :D i've already copied brokeback mountain (which everyone must see) and kiss kiss bang bang (which is funny/film noir/gay val kilmer and his ball gun...), so in my extreme poverty status at the moment i can just borrow/rent movies and copy them and have them and love them *gets teary eyed* it just soo beautiful! and i've got all my pictures back; my main worry was that i was gonna loose them all, i have photos of me and my friends from school and uni on their so i didn't want to go on the "big photo hunt of 2006!" plus i think some are irreplacable.... which blows! but i've made a back up of all of them!!! :D
but alas i lost all of my music off of my system, which is a total ballache!! so at the moment i'm ripping every cd i own onto the computer and the final count is 9... lol which is totally piss poor lol! so i want people to recommend a song for me to download, it can be anything i have major varied music tastes anyway!!! *makes puppy dog eyes* pleeeeeaassseee!! at the moment i'm copy the blue brother soundtrack onto the system, hehehe "shake your tail feather!!!" *dances round liek a crazy woman*
i went to the zoo on saturday, wooooo! it's called whipsnade wildlife park (which for years i called whip-snail wildlife park) and the day was hootttt.... too start with, i do live in england you know! I had to get up at 9am on a saturday to (eww!) but i think it was worth it! I saw monkees, lepoards, cheetahs, elephants, lions, penguins (that kept following me), lots of speicies of deer/antalope, rhinos and other funki animals. But it got me thinking, maybe i should of done zoology or something for my degree instead of film studies! i meaaannn i love film, i live and breathe film and stuff but is it really what i wanna do... but saying that is zoology something i really want to do or maybe social work? i dunno!!!! my head is totally baffaled! i think what i really wanna do is like animal films, maybe animal kids films. Because i do act like a 5 year old in a 19 year olds body! i think thats it!!!!!!! (in aboot a month, i will probs change my mind again!) i mean i always wanted to be a vet when i was younger so it kinda makes sense!!! They had "big cat week" on bbc1 last week and watching it made me think: "thats what i wanna be doing! going around africa researching and filming animals!" ill be like combining my lifes two fave things (next to sleeping and eating!!!) loll, it amazing how things can kinda fit together with a bit of thought!
on a plus side, channel 4 had a show called "50 films to see before you die" and i've seen 32 of them! wooo geekyness!
yey, a holiday! i'm going to see my 50,000,000,000 relatives in ireland on tuesday and i will be gone for a week! it should be loads of fun, i haven't seen like this side of the family since i was like 9 sooooo it's safe to say i've changed a bit since then! sooo yey! I've never used euros before soooo it should be quite fun! plus it's an extra special trip because this time last year i was in new york city, *cries* ohh the memories!!!! i'm taking a camera sooo hopefully lots of pictures of the week, and it will be nice to get out of slough.... it's wierd i've slipped back into living in slough really easily! even though my parents still think i'm 12 and like think i'm gonna get mugged/set something on fire, it's really funny though i think they miss doing it sooo i'm not gonna say anything and just pretend i'm not 19 lol! i do miss uni though, i can't wait to move into my house!!!! yyyyeeeeyyyyy!!
i'm gonna go watch the lion king and ponder some more before i have to go to bed "early"-ish! i bid you farewell my lj friends, see you after a week of getting drunk and not understanding people, wooooo! *huggles*
