God is amazing. When Jesus rose from the dead humans being humans refused to see what was real. We are made to doubt and question. But god in his infinite love for us always gives us a chance. It’s like the love for a retarded person. No matter how many times that child does the wrong thing or can’t understand, the parents will always love help and nurture that kid. God loves us even though it has to be very frustrating. For example, when the disciples went to the tomb of Christ they automatically KNEW. Not believed but KNEW that the body of Jesus had been stolen. Those that were closest to him even fell into humanistic flaws of life. Jesus appeared to them disguising himself and reminded them of the prophecy of Christ. He is there always holding our hand, letting us make mistakes, helping and testing us.
Jesus came to earth and did make a few large speeches and had a few large congregations, but the only reason he made an eternal impact, besides dying for the sin of the world, is that he made a lasting impression on a select group of individuals. An infinite intimate impact if you will. Not everyone Jesus talked to and healed automatically ran to the masses and sang his praises. In fact many people who heard him speak rebuked him. The mass of people at his trial shouted for him to be crucified. But because he had the determination and love to reach out to a group of lower class people, in ethics and socioeconomics, he was able to change the world.
