[12:21] AZtheImprovElf: in retrospect its a terrible name but the idea is amazing
[12:21] AZtheImprovElf: you go around and EVERYONE has a turn and you go around and everyone says something to you and it is the most honest thing you have to say to them

[12:21] AZtheImprovElf: like im pissed because you are an asshole

[12:22] AZtheImprovElf: or your girlfriend is a bitch
[12:22] AZtheImprovElf: and so on
[12:22] Rachel Swetnam: i wish girls weren't so petty and didn't take things to personally
[12:22] AZtheImprovElf: it is what made our group of friends much better and closer than others

[12:25] AZtheImprovElf: i was really good friends with this guy named rocky
[12:26] AZtheImprovElf: and we joked around ALL the time because we had drama rehersal and such and we kinda vowed to always be honest and blunt and that there is no reason to lie or twist the truth
[12:26] AZtheImprovElf: and we were pretty close
[12:26] AZtheImprovElf: then one night we bashed and rocky told me "dude...i hate being around you i dont like coming to school because every time i am around you you make me feel like nothing you make fun of my familt my weight and everything and i hate it because we were really close once..."
[12:26] AZtheImprovElf: i remember how much i needed to hear that
[12:27] AZtheImprovElf: things like that should NEVER go unsaid
[12:27] AZtheImprovElf: but there seems to be less and less honesty and forthrightness among people today
[12:27] AZtheImprovElf: everyone kinda hides behind this persona and outgoing drunkeness and such
[12:27] AZtheImprovElf: but meaningful lasting relationships are hard to come by
[12:27] Rachel Swetnam: b/c everyone is worried about damaging their image
[12:28] Rachel Swetnam: and if they tell someone what they think abut them then the same thing will come back to them
[12:28] AZtheImprovElf: and part of what i worked so hard for and what i thought so much of has gotten lost in college becuase of the lack of time and the addition of people you dont know
[12:28] Rachel Swetnam: and they don't want to hear about how they are not the person they think they are
[12:28] AZtheImprovElf: its kinda like you start at the bottom again
[12:28] Rachel Swetnam: yeah
[12:29] AZtheImprovElf: but then again i think that if you were to shake it up and be really blunt and open out front people respect it
[12:29] AZtheImprovElf: and yes sometimes you will ruffle feathers and such and there is a time and place for honesty
[12:29] Rachel Swetnam: yeah i'm pretty sure i'm the most blunt friend most of my friends have
[12:29] AZtheImprovElf: but overall there needs to be less preaching aobut it and more action
[12:29] Rachel Swetnam: b/c we have this friend who everyone just wants to smack sometimes bc of her mentality towards thins
[12:29] Rachel Swetnam: and i'm rooming with her next year
[12:30] Rachel Swetnam: and everyone is afraid b/c they know i'm going to tell her what i think next year at some point
[12:30] AZtheImprovElf: the problem is that nobody thinks that they are wrong or a bad person so they need to be kicked in the ass every once in a while

[12:30] Rachel Swetnam: and all my friensd were like Rachel hates everyone

[12:31] AZtheImprovElf: like on the spring break trip and in most social suituations where i am going to assert myself for a while i try to ask thought provking questions
