small town, USA
I know that it was my choice to move to a small town. I hate big or even medium sized cities, but I don't know if I'll be able to embrace the small town mentality.
For example, vegetable broth/bullion is now so exotic that I cannot get it in this town. Surprisingly, they do offer Silk soymilk. No other brand, of course, and nothing crazy like tofu. Or extra virgin olive oil. Or mushrooms other than the white button variety.
Our bank is still in the other town and I don't intend to switch to any of the three banks located in my town so we still make trips to the "city" for grocery shopping and banking.
