hello lover.........

As I was explaining to Heather and Katie, and Bernita and Aaron last night, my "Caro Wants to go to Europe" fund that I started a year ago (hoping that in 4 years I'd have enough to treat myself to a grad present) has changed due to certain circumstances....

That's right. The "Caro Wants to go to Europe" fund is now officially the "Caro Wants a Mini Cooper S" fund.

Except my baby will have white hubs to match the white rims, white roof, white mirrors and yes, the white racing stripes.

I had decided this when my brother, on Saturday, convinced my mom and dad to go to the BMW dealership, since Pat wants my dad to purchase an X3 (*drool*).  However, I was content enough to go next door to the Mini dealership and sit in the car above (*worship*).

The Mini has been out for about a good 3 years now, and I figure that in 6 years I can get me a used 2003 Cooper S for about 20,000$.  My mom informed me that she and my dad would be willing to help me out of I save enough for the downpayment, but I'm looking to save over the next 3 years plus what is already in my former "Caro Wants to go to Europe" fund at least 5,000$.

Now, I hear you ask, how do I plan on doing this? Well. I sold my soul. I asked Devin to tell Pat at Governor's Walk that I am available Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays over the summer, and tonight I will fax over my availablity. So, if the devil gives me shifts over the summer paycheque #1 would go towards my obscene debt, paycheque #2 towards my living expenses for next year, and from whichever paycheque is bigger, a 50$ donation will be made in my name towards the "Caro Wants a Mini Cooper S" fund.

What better way to motivate me to a) save $$ b) get my license and c) learn how to drive? I figure that by 3rd year nursing/4th year university I'll be SO sick of takin the bus and paying 51$ a month to ride the OC Transpo, and by that time my parents will be back from post and can aid in my purchase of my 2003 Mini Cooper S!

See, this is what I do instead of chemistry...
