Apparently in reaction to fandom_secrets and other trivial and incendiary wastes of net-time, TK has started a meme to the effect of "These are some unpopular/controversial opinions that I hold and am unafraid to voice."
'Kay, I'm actually not very opinionated. I also don't pay much attention to how others view my opinions, both online and IRL, so I really don't know if any of mine are really all that unpopular.
Also I'm very boring. But I try to hide it (is it working)? :D

+ FFVIII is probably my favorite FF game (if only for the fact that it was my first Final Fantasy). I fell in love with the story, and the characters especially (er. Most of them). Also, the music was great.
~My opinions on Rinoa vary. I've seen the b!tch side of her and the headstrong side of her; the ditzy side and her sweet thoughtful yet SMART side. All fanfiction though. I'm still left undecided about Rinoa's character. Same goes for Seifer; I feel that there's a lot that was left unsaid in the game about him, mostly concerning his dreams.
+ That being said I don't much care for FFVII. Not that I'm saying it's not a great game, but is it really worth all the hype? Is there a reason Squeenix feels the need to milk that franchise till there's nothing left?
+ Dragon riders are a touchy subject among fantasy literature it seems, and I admit to enjoying reading Eragon and liking it. Not so much anymore, but I really, really liked reading Brisingr. I thought Paolini was putting more of his own ideas in that book, and it shows.
+ I'm like the only person in my circle of friends that has read the Twilight series and found it greatly lacking. In many areas. I think there were maybe a smattering of potentially great characters (read: Jasper, and pretty much any of those stock vampires from the fourth book) that never got developed. It's really quite sad. Also, I positively loathe Bella. And Edward can take his ~*~SCINTILLATING~*~ self and jump off a cliff for all I care.
+ Apparently Muse is supposed to be this awesome band with music all over the place...but I can't find a song of theirs that I like. I thought I liked alternative music...? I dunno, but I really can't stand their stuff. *shrug*
+ I kept hearing rumors a while back of a movie based off of Ender's Game. And swore that should this happen, I would cut out my liver and...do something with it. Or something. (Just...that's not the type of book I can see being translated well to film. Unless you get a visionary director who's read it.)
+ Hetalia is probably my favorite fandom right now, aside from FF8 and the Tales Of games. However,it seems many of the fans only like it superficially, and I'm not sure I like that much at all.
~ Contrary to the norm, I have to say that I don't like North Italy...I mean, I can't hate him, for sure; it might be safe to say that I LIKE every nation-tan at least a little. But again, I don't understand all the hype. Maybe I am just averse towards cute, friendly people. *pondering therapy*
+ I don't care what anyone says, Namco's Tales Of series are some of the best RPGs I've played. In part because their battle system is so addicting and fun; I would totally take it over a FF any day.
+ I don't really think Johnny Depp is all that hot.
+ I prefer lesser known (but still very fine~) men such as: Stephen Dillane, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, and David Wenham.
+ I think Naruto is a series that started out great and encountered many pitfalls along the way, thus causing it to lose steam and eventually die out. As I believe it must. Eventually. But I hold firm to my original belief that there is much to like about it.
+ I try reading stuff that most people are into, and find that 90% of the time I can't follow it. Like Death Note, D-Gray Man, Kuroshitsuji, Nabari no Ou, and even Katekyo Hitman Reborn (although that one was fairly interesting for a while). I love the art for all of these series, but I can't get into the story or the characters, for one reason or another.
+ I actually like watching The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. If only because I feel closer to my family because of it.
