My 2D animation teacher told me during his class that another one of my instructors had been talking to him, about me :0 and that this instructor (Steve Missal, look him up if you get the chance, he may or not have an online portfolio but his work is amazing) was impressed with my work and had great hopes for me after I graduate. It pretty much made my night.
Anyway, I'm gonna apply at Michael's because it's getting to be the holiday season and they're sure to need more help, plus Barnes&Noble hasn't gotten back to me so yeah. I would like to be able to support not only myself, with groceries and gas, but my favorite music groups and artists. My YesAsia wishlist in particular is very high. Plus there's just some things on Amazon that are cheap enough where I would like to buy them but not cheap enough for me to justify spending money I do not have. :(
On the drama front, I did end up finishing Cinderella's Sister and was kind of disappointed. I relied on skimming and screencaps from Dramabeans (love that place, it helped me so much with Boys Over Flowers) to get through many of the episodes. I have mixed feelings because while that drama had a stellar cast (Korea's favorite girl Moon Geun Young, plus the guy who played Ki-hoon was really good and probably also famous but I can't remember his name. Daesung/the dad was such an awesome character too ;__; and then there's Taecyeon, who was pretty good though it's not like his character was written with a lot of depth, but still), beautiful music accompaniment, and very nice cinematography, I felt like things could have gone a lot faster. And the characters went backwards in their development so many times, I was quite irked. The ending was happy but it was not very satisfying. So I felt like I wasted a lot of time watching this. :( But my roommate tells me that Sungkyungkwan Scandal is really good. I've watched the first episode and I'm impressed, and since I finally finished season 4 of Supernatural I thought I'd take a break and go back to watching dramas. :)
that's all I have to say now~ Other than, I got my aunt's cat and I love him, even when he constantly wakes me up really early in the mornings...
