top ten meme: favorite fictional guys

Taking a leaf out of shadowandfoxgal's book and making my own list~ I happen to be a list maniac--I love making lists, even if they never go anywhere.

TOP TEN FAVORITE FICTIONAL GUYS

10. Faramir - THE LORD OF THE RINGS

Gotta show some love to my roots. While Merry harbors a special place in my heart it's Faramir who I like best, if only because I relate to him somehow. He deserves many good things.

9. Sokka - AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER

I tend to be drawn toward the comic relief!characters or the bitterangst!characters. Sometimes both, as in the case of Avatar--I love both Zuko and Sokka. Sokka's just cooler for some reason. I happen to think he'd make a great older brother. He made the show so much more enjoyable to me, because his caustic remarks on current events would mirror my thoughts while watching the show (which I found hilarious) plus he's just funny.

8. Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner) - X-MEN: EVOLUTION

GUYS GUYS I HAVE SUCH A CRUSH ON THIS BOY YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. I loved watching this series on Kids WB when it came on afternoons after school. This guy quickly became one of my favorite characters because of his adorable awkwardness and crazy antics and sexy accent ohoho. I would love to be this guy's friend.

7. Howl Jenkins/Pendragon - HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE

Howl's easy on the eyes, if nothing else. I really like him though because his character development over the course of the movie was nicely done, and he came out of his troubles a better man for it. Plus he's so sweet. <3

6. Raven - TALES OF VESPERIA

Admittedly I liked Raven the moment I saw him because I knew he had a story to tell; I just couldn't wait to hear it. He's got a whole boatload of issues but he tries hard not to let them get to him, and anything anybody says to him gets brushed off casually. He's a guy with a past, a crazy womanizing old man, but he's good.

5. Antonio Fernandez Carriedo (Spain) - AXIS POWERS HETALIA

Spain wasn't my favorite at first but he steadily grew on me by simply being there. His seemingly normal-ness is like a breath of fresh air to the crazy personalities and complicated family issues the other nation-tans go through--though Spain is no stranger to bad days. Yet he remains eternally optimistic and is rarely seen without a smile.

4. Asch the Bloody - TALES OF THE ABYSS

Asch doesn't have issues, he's got a friggin' subscription. His faults appear to be the only things defining his character (temper, impatience, temper, stubbornness, arrogance, did I say temper?) but he slips up often, showing another side to this young man with a chip off his shoulder.

3. Minato Namikaze - NARUTO

SHUT UP THE ONLY REASON I LIKE NARUTO IS THIS GUY RIGHT HERE--and he's DEAD.
:(
So there's only a handful of actual chapters with him in it, but you don't need much to know he was an all-around good guy. Kinda loopy at times, but always a genius and always capable of wipin' the floor with you. Also he seems to be the sentimental type and you know I love those~~~

2. Fakir - PRINCESS TUTU

'Kay so Fakir is awesome, 'nuff said. How many guys do you know that can pwn your unworthy arse at ballet yet still remain manly while doing so? No one? DIDN'T THINK SO. I digress. Fakir is apparently an insensitive, controlling jerk but reveals his inner insecurities as PT progresses. I love these secret!softies. Plus he's adorable when he blushes.

1. Laguna Loire - FINAL FANTASY VIII

You'll notice I've chosen to feature older!Laguna. While I love Laguna from the past, I think he's mellowed out quite a bit being President of Esthar, and seeing all these crazy things happen to him and people close to him *cough* gives him more depth that I find simply endearing. He's still loopy, but he's been a leader for years, and he knows what he's doing. KEEP ON KEEPING ON, LAGUNA. \o/

This was fun~
