So I got around to watching the finale of Eden of the East (The only anime I've been really keeping up with lately, wow). Man, what an ending! It felt kind of anticlimactic and yet totally epic at the same time--thanks to Akira, no less. I'm really excited for the TWO movies that'll be coming out.
I'd write a review for this series since it's new and not many people seem to know about it, but it's hard to describe! All I can say is it gives off vibes similar to The Bourne Identity + the following sequels. So I guess if you like those movies, you'd enjoy Eden of the East.
I ALSO LIKE IT BECAUSE THE OPENING SONG IS REALLY ADDICTING LOL plus get a load of all the surreal postapocalyptic imagery and Biblical references
