Cycles
Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust, Cambridge to Cambridge. From whence I left I shall return. My adventures in Massachusetts ended on August 25th, 2001, and they shall begin again precisely one year later, on August 25th, 2002. I wonder how I will be different when I return, and how Cambridge will be different. Will the homeless man I helped still be alive? Will he have learned to obtain money in a dignified manner? Has my heart opened in the passing time, or has it solidified and congealed? I wonder what I will do on my next independence day in Cambridge, July 4th, 2003. I still do not know if I will decide to help a homeless man.
