Hey, buddy, get a job!
The closure of our centre happened a bit quicker than expected. Shortly after my last mess journal entry, they told us that our group (there's two groups) will have their last day April 23. (The other group in mid-June). So, if you checked the date recently, that means I'm now looking for work.
Excited to use the opportunity to get into something that I haven't done before, but, as you might expect, apprehensive. (And this job market, while not as bad as our American neighbours', isn't the ideal place to look for work) Stay tuned and see how this goes.
Also our trip is kind of up in the air as a result too. Not really due to finances, I'll have enough money for the trip, but more the timing, as I don't want to take time off from a job I just started (and I doubt any employer will let a new hire take two weeks vacation immediately.)
