Fandom: ---Hogan's Heroes/The Bunker---
Characters: Neumann, Hilda, and Colonel Klink
Story: "The Nervous Gestapo Agent" (100wc)
Rating: K
Warnings/Spoilers: none
Theme music: "Hot Fuzz Suite" by David Arnold from "Hot Fuzz"
Author's Note: This #77: Drown from bob100. This is my first attempt at a drabble for "Hogan's Heroes" and because I was so nervous trying to write "Hogan's Heroes" again, this seemed a fitting subject to venture into.
Summary: In order to save his friend's life, Neumann must disguise himself as a Gestapo agent and sift information out of Colonel Klink.

#77: Drown - The Nervous Gestapo Agent
Neumann drew in a steady breath, but his nerves were ready to drown him. While Hogan may not have feared using a German to sniff out information, Neumann had everything to lose. Death was Neumann’s reward for failure.

“You will be fine Herr Leutnant,” said Hilda as she took her place by the commandant’s door.

“Danke,” Neumann whispered. He stepped forward as Hilda opened the door and announced his presence.

“Tell him to come back later. I cannot--” Colonel Klink’s gaze spied the lightning bolts on Neumann’s uniform. Klink sprang from his chair, exclaiming, “It’s so good to see you!”
