The sigh before the storm...
Today, at work, I tripped on a skid while carrying a 30 kilo pail. I twisted my back in the fall and immediately knew that something ain't right. I filled out an incident form and was put on light duty because now my back hurt. After a little while I asked if I could go home for the day. They said yes, but only if you get X form filled out by a doctor. To make a long story short, I ended up spending the rest of my day in waiting room, not getting out until I would have normally finished work. Oh, and the doctor says I have several bruised ribs and should just rest. :D :D :D
So, to sum things up, rather then just letting me go home and rest for the day after it was pretty clear that I was uncomfortable they made me spend all day waiting to get a form filled out saying that I should rest.
I am not being paid enough for this bullshit!
Christ, 54 hours a week(Mandatory) at minimum wage. Fuck!
