taxes
i was supposed to have my taxes electronically put into my account on feb. 13th. it's feb. 17 and those things are no where to be found. i have to wait until tomorrow to call the IRS. just my luck.
our valentines day was nice. dinner was really good; even at $100 bucks. i had the spinich salad to start and she had flatbread steak and against my wishes she had veal. she can't help it, she's italian. and then we also had dessert - i had cheesecake and she had creme brulee. we also got a champagne toast and our picture taken and put in a photograph....and i think they brought her flowers. so it was actually really nice and i think we are going to go their for my big 3-4 next week.
the wine & chocolate tasting was fun too. it was completely packed since it was considered a cheap thing to do in columbus. but they had a really neat exhibit showing that had furniture, i think it's called "standing room only" piece, but it was furniture with plants (all types) growing out of them. my favorite was the easy chair with the cactuses. but it was a lot of fun. we had fun.
there was a strange couple (or women) there who (this whole thing is inside and basically suitable for plants, so it's pretty warm in most rooms) had ear muffs on throughout the whole thing. big, white puffy ones. it was so funny. her outfit was all black and gold so the bright fluffies really stood out.
but we were home in bed by 8pm (our dinner reservations were at 4) and i was asleep by 9. i haven't been feeling well. my throat and ears are still really bothering me. and it's kept me up. so i was exhausted and the wine helped me sleep.
sunday we went to a beer tasting at our favorite theater and then watched "pulp fiction" on the big screen; which was fun for monica b/c she was young when it came out and never saw it on the big screen. in march they are going to take a sunday and play both "godfather 1" & "godfather 2". and serve spaghetti during intermission. fun.
