The caffeine should help keep him awake.

[ apparently all the Brits are still on England-time, given by the way the Doctor is, too, sipping tea. ]

Avoiding dream-broadcasts?

[Smiles]

Yes. My young master is disturbed by having his dreams made public.

[he smiles a little.]

I'd be a bit worried if he wasn't. Dreams are the subconscious, so, really, everyone knows what everyone's thinking, if they see each other's dreams.

Indeed. Most disturbing, I'm sure.

I suggested using a filter, though I do not believe they are always successful.

Oh, hadn't even thought about that.

Ah. [Smiles] I suppose there is no harm in attempting it.

Not really. It's not as if it can really backfire, per se. Does he know how?

[ sips tea. /talks about ciel like he's not there. ]

I will make the arrangements, as soon as he concedes that sleep is necessary.

That'd probably be soon, wouldn't it? Not many children can go for more than a day without sleep...

Quite right. But you see, my young master is rather determined.

[See Ciel in the background, sipping coffee, looking displeased.]

[ ... waves to Ciel. ]

I'm not sure how much that will accomplish... people tend to sleep for more than their fair share after a long bout of keeping awake. That could make for more dreams.

Or, nightmares.

[And there's his cup colliding with the saucer probably a bit more harshly than he intended]

I just don't want anyone else prying into my head. The amounts or types of dream makes no differences. [kid's... kiiiiinda cranky]

You can't stay awake forever. You'd die. And, you'd probably fall asleep before putting a dent in 'forever', unfortunately. It's probably best to try a filter, see if it works, and then do adjustments.

[ he points out. and he realizes he's cranky, but doesn't let up. oh, parents. ]

Though, really, by the amounts of dreams that go by in at least a day, it's a wonder people notice them all...

I don't intend to stay awake forever. Only until this matter is taken care of. [Which he'll do by scare tactics, and imbibing caffeine. At least, he thinks so.]

Blimey.

[ he shakes his head a bit, but there's a smile on his lips. stubborn children are stubborn. ]

Suppose I should say 'good luck', then.
