*Shakes head in shame*

I don't know how they do it? They being republicans. Some how they continue to win the elections while not being the majority of America. Only 17% of people in the major cities around the country came out and voted. That means that who gets screwd in the long run... lets think about it? The minority races of America. It amazes me that we still have a race/ethnicity problem in this country after so many years. It amazes me that a president with a poor economy (if you say the economy is rising you are foolish), a poor war effort (in which he lied to the American people), and and about a half of approval rating will be elected again.

How is that? well i think that fear is the driving force behind this one. Fear is ruling us now and that's what the terrorist want. And by going into Iraq and other countries to fight the terrorists we are creating more terrorists its going to continue. This war on terror is paralleled by the war on drugs we can't win it people. yes i agree there needs to be some sort of effort to contain the terrorists but lets be honest we can't do it by ourselves (America). If you think there is a coalition of the willing you are foolish as well. Britain is our only true ally in this one Poland backed out about a month ago. I don't know how to go about the war on terror but i know that this way is highly dagerous and can cost us a lot of lives and money. The Iraq war was not just because all peaceful means at our disposal were not used, the loss of life estimated of over 100,000 Iraqis killed and 1,000 Americans killed and climbing everyday, and other terms of the Just War theory do not apply therefore i conclude that the Iraq war was unjust.

Let me remind people of a campaign promise that G. W. Bush made. He promised to UNITE US! DID HE, NO! The country is ever more divided than before. We are divided on all issues. Domestic issues have taken a back seat to this administration and foreign policy is shot to hell. Did you realize how many diplomats have resigned from this administration because of the foreign policies its rediculous. And the Domestic Issues are all shotty too. Our environment is getting worse and worse, businesses are going overseas at a high rate because of tax-cuts for outsourcing, gay marraige will be a constittuional fight in the years to come, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, the middle class is losing ground. Our country is crazy divided. Don't even get me started on the national debt.

Morals were a high standard in this election. I can see how some of you would vote for G. W. on this but lets take into consideration of the aforementioned material and we can see that it does not morally line up. I believe that we had a separation of church and state that was initiated by the church and i don't think many christians realize this. There is a reason. It is because politics and the government were corrupting the church. We must realize that Christianity is not what everybody wants so we cannot vote primarily on this reason. It is unfair to the rest of the religions and to non-believers. We must take things on an issue by issue basis and that means not just taking one persons moral character and saying hey he's a christian i'll vote for him because of that. Meaning because he opposes gay marraige and thinks abortion is wrong that he'll get my vote. That will take away from the principles that this country stands on.

All this upsets me and i'm sure i'll find more to add later but as for now i'll leave you with a quote from a friend of mine:

"Well, America, you made your bed; now sleep in it while it burns."-Joel White

Canada might be an option.
