Why sit through 3+ hours when sometimes 5 minutes is all you need?

I forgot that the Oscars were on tonight until my mom asked me if I was going to watch. I haven't watched in years, I think (and this is just my opinion, feel free to disagree) that award shows have gotten really boring and I can't make myself sit through them

Hahaha I totally agree with you on the Big Bang theory! And while I like Kirk, both new and old, Shatner just seemed to pull it off without a hitch so to speak. Maybe it was the time these were made in, they have aged well but arent really up to scratch with the new one.

As to the point of the post, there is absolutely no point to the award shows these days, however saying that, I was curious to find out whether David Cameron got his ass kicked by the ex-wife he left for the younger woman on his arm lol.

Both Kirks are good Kirks! But I have a special fondness for Shantner's version, probably because I grew up with the movies.

Haha, I kinda did too. Ive seen them anyways, mostly the Patrick Stewart ones though. The new one is very good.

I love the new one too :) I'm a total Trekie, so I love pretty much all forms of Star Trek.

Haha Im not a Trekkie in any way but I do like most of them. Except DS9, I hated that thing with passion. Not sure why though. Kirk was the best because he went on missions to planets, Jean Luc never left the ship unless there was a girl for him to unwittingly seduce hahah.
