Conquer the table!!
Okay, so this is way shorter than anything I usually write, but I don't want to add anything to it because it turned out...well, at least IMO, it wouldn't be as good if I added anything.

Tonight, in the cramped, close quarters of a transport out of sector thirteen, he prayed for Centauri Prime. They were close enough to Centauri Prime where he could see the lights on in the southern cities, but far enough away where the Centauri wouldn’t see this transport, or know he was on it, or know that he brought the information that burned their cities. There had been no Centauri through here at all, no faces that he might have seen before (Vir, Vir, there are thousands dying; don’t be one of the thousands), at least not Centauri, though there were Rangers now and then (You spoke once of how a seer said you would be emperor, so you cannot be one of the thousands) and they kept to the shadows here (The Centauri would be diminished if you died, but if you live, you can teach them). Rangers had been born in shadows (I do not want to imagine your face pale in death while I am awake) to watch for Shadows (I would never have brought that information back if I had known it would lead to that much death) and weren’t used to walking in the light yet (I hope seers are right enough to have it so you do not die yet).

Friends should never die. They were rare and precious, tenuous, and in days like…years, like…these years…too often would die. The lights of Centauri Prime would go up in fire.

For her. I lit her a thousand fires.

The Alliance would too. He was not unique. A hundred million would light fires for her. They would burn their hands on the flames and be thankful for it.

Londo Mollari was said to be a damned soul.

Centauri Prime was said to be the most damned of all worlds. Their fires were deserved. Their dead were a penance.

All life was sacred.

Tonight he prayed for Centauri Prime.
