Teachers are stupid...especially ones giving out detentions....

Today Me and Alex got a detention for sitting outside without a boater on. Now apart from the fact I think that is one of the stupidest reasons for handing out detentions, there are a few other things that strike me as wrong with this senario. First of all, Claire, who was standing up next to us, neglected to get a detention because she was standing...now correct me if I'm wrong but the oh so dangerous sun rays they are trying to protect us from don't deflect of someone because their standing do they! Second - I was sitting in the shade, i'm not talking about whimpy, "it's half covering me" sort of shade but actual "I am cold because the sun is not touching my skin shade". A thirdly (if that's even a word), if ya gonna give me a fuckin detention for not wearing a hat while sitting in the shade, you betta be wearing a bloody hat yourself. That's right, practice what you preach ya bitch!
