Right now I'm having one of those delusional phases where I think people acutally read what I write. SO I'M GOING TO WRITE STUFF AND THERE'S NOT A DAMN THING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT HAHAHA.
Class started yesterday. Waking up at 6am after 3 months of sleeping until 10 isn't easy, but I somehow managed to pull it off. I've got Trig and Creative Writing on MWF, Economics on Thurs. night, and C programming on Saturday mornings (AW HELL YES). My trig teacher seems cool and writing looks interesting so it shouldn't be too bad.
I started playing Disgaea: Hour of Darkness again recently after not touching it for quite awhile. I started over and did some shit differently and I'm having a hell of alot of fun. The story is pretty neat too. I'm pretty excited for the 31st, as Star Ocean: Till The End of Time and Phantom Brave (another tactical RPG from the makers of Disgaea) both come out that day, and my wallet will promptly take a dive into the depths of hell. I'm pretty convinced that they'll both kick a whole lot of ass. Star Ocean seems to have some really cool characters and a fucking BAD ASS battle system (even better than FFX-2's, from what I've seen), and Phantom Brave has the Disgaea character designs and generally awesome and unique gameplay.
Naturally I've been watching quite a bit of anime lately. Finished Haibane Renmei which was seriously awesome, and the ending was quite moving. I also acquired the soundtrack and it is FANTASTIC. Lots of orchestral/piano/classical type pieces, I love it. Galaxy Angel season 4 started recently and it's just as comedy gold as the last 3, and has the addition of Chitose from the PC game as a new character. Should be a lot of fun. "2x2=Shinobuden" is a series that just recently started. It's a sort of ninja parody anime and I can safely say it is funny as hell. All 6 episodes so far have kept me laughing near constantly with their wacky antics. The opening and ending themes are awesome as hell, too. On the other end of the spectrum, Elfenlied is the most fucked up anime I've seen in quite awhile. Take a character like Chii from Chobits, complete with cute cat-ear-like things and the ability to only say "nyu" and then give her a freakish other personality that has the ability to rip a person limb from limb just by looking at them (which happens multiple times in the first 10 minutes of the first episode) and you have the main character for Elfenlied. It's very graphic and a little disturbing too, especially with how it wavers constantly between the ultra-violence and the cute "nyu!" stuff. In other words, it's awesome.
Lindsay is stopping by to visit next month! That will be quite spiffy.
I've started working on a story recently. It's fiction, has a bit of a fantasy leaning to it (not too extreme though), and it's gotten up to about 10 pages now. I really like it, and people I've shown it to seem to like it too. If you want to read it IM me and I'll send it to you :O
Also, I'm still a huge slacker with no job.
That is all!
