I just got done doing some DDR. I've been getting A's on most of the light songs so I started doing a few standard songs. Most of the 4-foot ones I can at least pass and even get C's on. Not that spectacular but hey, it's a start. They wear me out pretty quickly though, haha. I need to get in shape ;( I found an area on my floor where I don't think the vibrations are as bad so I'll just do it there and hope my neighbors downstairs don't get pissed. Of course, they were blasting music at 9 this morning, so they better not mind :P
Last night mike and I went to Rocky's Replay. I wasn't sure if he would like going to an arcade but we ended up having alot of fun and he liked it alot. So much that he deicded to beat the living shit out of me in Soul Calibur 2 with Astaroth, causing me to waste a dollar in tokens just getting my ass handed to me. It sucks because I'm so used to Seung Mina and she's not in the arcade version. But today at home I discovered Kilik is almost exactly like her and promptly paid him back in full and then some for the asskicking. I'm thinking I'll do better next time we go.
Mike decided he wanted to get rid of his gas-guzzling ford explorer so we went looking for cars today. He got a decent deal on a 2004 Mazda3 4-door so it seems like he'll be getting it very soon. It makes me jealous and now I want the hatchback version :P Unfortunatly i have not much money and no job, so it'll be a few years, I'm sure.
Samurai Champloo, an anime from the makers of Cowboy Bebop, started last week. It's been hyped up for awhile and so far it's living up to it. It kicks all sorts of ass. It's got samurais, violence, hip-hop, a cute girl, breakdancing, and crazy swordfighting. Aforementioned cute girl, Fuu-chan, is voiced by (my favorite) Ayako Kawasumi, which makes her even MORE awesome. After seeing the first episode multiple times, I'm convinced this series has a hell of alot of potential, so I'm looking forward to more. The whole hip-hop influence is interesting to say the least, at some times I think it's a bit cheesy but it doesn't really detract from the show too much since everything else just owns.
Other than that stuff, life's been pretty normal, I'm getting into the routine of living on my own, and I'm really enjoying it.
