THE WHISTLES GO "WOO"
let's see, what's been goin on:
- I got a new phone, the Nokia 6800, it folds out into a keyboard and is the fucking coolest thing ever.
- AT&T is fucking gay. Not only did they forget to send my phone out till MONDAY when they said it would be here FRIDAY, we have had hell trying to get my dad's phone switched to my old phone, cause his old one didn't have a SIM card cause its, well, fucking old. So we call to get a new one and they send one and DEACTIVATE MINE. So then we call back again and end up having to go to the local store and do all this shit but I think everything's finally worked out.
- The window-light portrait of my dog turned out REALLY GOOD. Everyone liked it alot.
- Registered for graduation, had no problems or anything. Kinda dumb that you have to pay 20 bucks to be able to graduate though, as if they don't take enough of your money already.
- Finished Shingetsutan Tsukihime, an anime series based on the game "Melty Blood" I mentioned a few entries ago. It's kind of a serious drama anime, has to do with vampires and stuff. The whole plot is kinda dark and gloomy, and the ending was kind of sad, but it was a good series.
- As if I wasn't a big enough geek already, I started playing Ragnarok Online again. I had played it once a long time ago when it was still in free beta. It has a 15 day free trial so I'm using that to decide if I want to fork out the 12 bucks a month for it. It's pretty fun, has gotten better since beta, but I'm not totally sure yet.
- Still trying to decide just exactly what the fuck I want to do at UCF. I'm interested in doing digital media/graphic design cause I love fucking around in photoshop/illustrator and I'd like to learn Flash and stuff, and I've been helping Mike with some stuff he's been workin on for the sign shop he works at. I could also supplement it with photography. But I'm kind of afraid that, while I am a creative person, my artistic abilities may not be up to par enough to compete in a field like that. I know that I can get better if I work at it, I'm a good learner, but still. I don't know if i want to get involved in it and then find out I can't hack it. I wish I had Mike's drawing skills, would make all this so much easier. Advice, alternate suggestions, whatever, are appreciated ;P
