The last batch, so to speak. I apologize again, for taking so long to finish up. o_o;

(Eyeshield 21) Five times Sena became flustered due to Suzuna’s actions
1) She hugged him after they won the game against the Poseidons. It wasn’t immediately after when the whole team was greased with sweat and victory tears; it was after they changed back into their school uniforms (he felt too mortified, always too embarrassed to take a shower anywhere besides his house). She waited for him by the door and glanced from side to side (making sure there was no one, but well, he only noticed why she looked around after a good hour or two), and then wrapped her arms around his neck for a quick moment, whispering, “You did a fantastic job.”
(She never looked the same since then.)
2) She tried to explain her monthly mood swings but he closed his eyes rapidly and refused to listen-well, after she brought out the so-called ‘monthly cushions’ for ladies from her purse, anyway.
3) She’s so bold like sleek leather in a fashion show. He knows what a horrible analogy that is, but he can hardly help it. The things she does are spontaneous and fresh; it’s like watching a flower in constant bloom. But at other times she’s soft just like that-the flower itself and the almost transparent petals, smiling away and wearing her heart on her sleeve.
4) “Every girl in my class has a big crush on you, Sena!”
“W- What?” he said, fumbling as if he had heard the news in ten different languages.
She laughed clearly and aloud, replying, “April Fools! Take it easy, would you be happier if I told you no one liked you (except me, who has always liked you, of course)?”
5) She’s leaving with her (“ever-idiotic”, she calls her sibling) brother to Hokkaido. She’s exhilarated about seeing the city of Sapporo and exclaims ‘this is so exciting!’ very often until his head is ringing with her mirth. He doesn’t mind; he likes the sound of her laughing.
She pauses briefly to tell him, “You can come with us if you want.”
He looks up, startled, and explains in a hurry that he has chores to do at home, that his parents wouldn’t approve of his travel when he has homework to do, etc.
Her eyes look a little bit sad. “Oh, okay,” she says, “In that case, I’ll see you after break, then.”

(Fullmetal Alchemist) Five times Ed missed Winry (that he wouldn’t admit)
1) He sometimes stays up late enough for the sun to rise (or should he call it early? But it doesn’t matter, the hours pass by nonetheless) and as he watches the sky’s color change from midnight black to red, orange, pastel morning, he becomes aware of the distinct lack of her-no loose blonde hair, no banter against his damaged automail, no sing-song voice that tells him to drink his milk.
2) He mechanically puts the baked potato in his mouth, spoonful by spoonful and chews it heartily. He takes the knife to put some more butter and stops; it takes him three seconds to recall her scolding (“put little at a time, don’t take a block of butter”), a minute to imagine where she is (home, sweet home, the curse of heaven upon his soul), and a whole day to forget about what she might be doing (cleaning up the house, doing laundry, taking care of the dog, saying hellos and goodbyes to the neighbors, walking on the road, maybe lying on the grass after fiddling with a new model of automail with her sun-kissed skin in the evening sky).
3) At times as an alchemist, there are rules he must abide by. He takes out his little pocket book and reminds himself that there must be an equal exchange (and stares at his watch for a long while to remember that mere alchemy and materials alone can never bring back a human being to life). Then her voice comes through-be selfish every once in a while. Don’t take it so hard on yourself. You deserve the good and the better, too, Ed. He doesn’t think he deserves her words, especially: Just know that you’re also a human like the rest of us.
4) He walks the streets with Al and passes by a store full of sparkling delights that girls would love. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, and other things that girls would like-
that Winry might like to have around her neck, wrists, and fingers. (His steps halt.)
“Brother?”
5) When he’s surrounded by the tearful children of some tragic town, he thinks not only of the children’s despair but hers-the unstoppable tears, the helpless, delicate hand with a gun placed in its palm-and believes her desolation to be more heartbreaking than any other’s.

(One Piece) Five things Ace and Luffy did as children
1) They counted the sunlight. On a bright day, they would lie on the grass and shield their eyes while observing just how many sunrays penetrated between their fingers. They looked at the shadows of flower petals and examined the way shades bent when the wind blew across. They fell asleep under the trees and often dreamed of setting sail together.
2) They played soldier. Ace was usually the leader and Luffy followed his big brother around most of the time, swinging wooden swords randomly, incorrectly. It was only when Ace told him, “You only need fists to survive,” that he threw away his prized practice swords to punch the tree barks instead. Years later Luffy would question his brother’s belief; “My Nakama,” he would say, “they use anything and everything you can think of to survive.”
3) They marched through the town, stomping their feet and bellowing sailors’ tunes. Most neighbors looked at them with confusion and sometimes contempt-“What on earth will become of those children?”-but Shanks didn’t. He never scolded them for their dreams. “Become a pirate if you want,” he said, taking a sip of beer, “and make something of yourselves. Live grand lives.”
4) They held contests. Who can eat their food faster? Who can climb up the tallest tree? Who can last the longest underwater? (The last one Luffy will remember for his life because swimming was only a part of his childhood and nothing more, that damn-but very convenient and useful-devil’s fruit.)
5) They practiced goodbyes. Well, at least Ace did. “Don’t cry when I’m gone,” Ace told his little brother, ruffling the boy’s hair, “and make sure to follow me one day, okay?”
Luffy only pouted. “You never leave anyway. Besides, I’m going to catch up and then beat you someday!”
(But Ace did; he did leave. They both left and met again. The second goodbye wasn’t as hard, Luffy thought. They were bound to run into each other later anyway, the notorious pirate brothers they were.)

(Honey and Clover) Five steps Ayumi needed to fall for Nomiya
1) He touched her hair once by accident. She was working in the pottery classroom, mending the clay; he was sitting next to her by the windowsill, his face soaked with the sunrays and instant coffee in hand. He lazily walked across and took her ponytail and stayed there a while, as if to smell it. (She knows he did-she felt his face against the ends of her hair and nearly ruined the sake cups she was making for her family.)
2) They drank from the same can. It wasn’t voluntary; he grabbed her soda can and drained it halfway. She was thirsty and didn’t have the time to complain or go buy another one, so she said nothing and finished the drink. A cup would’ve been better, she thought, a cup.
3) She leaned on his arm, crying over Mayama. Stupid Mayama, stupidstupidstupid. You always leave me in the dirt, every single time. Nomiya put a hand on her shoulder and thought that being her comfort was enough.
4) He appeared. Anywhere she wanted to see him, everywhere she missed him, he was there. She was glad, but broken. He was relieved to see that she was glad and kneeled down next to her whenever she needed his sympathy, his compassion. She called herself a sucker for a kind word and he said cover what you can; you can only hide so much (inside that young heart).
5) They held hands. Those seconds were slow as his fingers linked through hers and all she could do was cry, cry hard again after all this time. He laughed a sad laugh and told her they were going to be all right, that they would heal with time, both of them, every last feeling they had that hurt them.
And she believed him.
