Yay! My friend finally got a job! After about 4 months of trying, he finally landed something. I can't wait until he starts! He'll finally be able to move out. And be able to afford gas to actually do everything he needs to! :D
Got to run my game last night, at long last! It went really well. There was no dice rolling last game; it was all a bunch of role-playing that was very well done and fulfilling, I think, for everybody. Characters had a lot of family and other NPC interaction, and some amazing plots and skills were reveled.
Did I mention I love my players? I do. We've got a really well-rounded, fun group. I don't think I've had this much fun running a game in a really long time. The game will be ending soon, and I'm not looking forward to that... hopefully, we'll be starting a new game and we can keep most of this same group. Maybe even bring in the one different person that's in the Wednesday game. That would be fun.
Which means 4.0 is not too far in the distant future... I'm terribly excited. We've run an adventure from it before, and it was a lot of fun; the new system is awesome. Can't wait to see what we come up with.
