So summers sort of mostly over
It went by a little too fast.
Most likely we'll forget most or all of it. Think back and try to remember any summer before eighth grade and most likely you wont remember much. Yeah you hung out with friends and you may have hooked up or even been in a really cool relationship, but in the end its done and theres not much you can do about it except remember it every now and again and sigh or feel sick or smile depending. You recall and you feel and observe the consequences. but nothing is permanent. If you think youve changed you could always change back. if you think youve matured then you can regress. Nobody reading this is even close to a permanent sense of self because there is no such fucking thing. and its not bad at all
in the end this is all miniscule to the rest of your life
appreciate but realize that and everything wont have to knock you down so hard
i dont want to spend a whole year with people dumbfounded by every event ever
yeah, A year from now we're all over, minus a ten year reunion
but a year is a fucking long long time when you think about it
so lets have a good time and save the heavy stuff for later shall we
cause when all you think about is the end then its going to cheapen the rest
everyone chill out and enjoy yourselves.
