So I was talking about how The Gift has some of the worst continuity that BtVS has possibly ever seen and it got me and others talking about moments in Buffy and Angel that are so bad or dumb that at this point you can't help but look back on them with an indulgent smile

No one noticing that Cordy is obviously pregnant.

Wes appearing to forget a large amount of his demon knowledge in s5.

Which also pairs nicely with Wes having expert knowledge of how to not only work, but accurately read an ultra-sound. I guess if the Watcher thing didn't work out for him he was going to be an OB/GYN.

Though if her room had a web connection, suddenly everything makes a lot more sense--she wasn't avoiding people, she just suddenly developed a raging internet addiction, and could be found as PyleaCaveGirl in assorted IRC channels.

That really bugged me because you can't, *can't*, take a five-year break from physics and sail back in. I don't care how brilliant she is, the field would have moved on so much that she never should have been able to catch up.
