TBH, I've always found that participants are better served by RPF/RPS communities being locked down - mainly to avoid this kind of crap.

I kind it deeply ironic that the OP of that piece says that fan-fiction is creepy, yet you can bet a good chunk of the baseball community at large enjoys the tabloid trash written about baseball players - most of which also happens to be fiction.

To be fair, I believe anything A-Rod does; male, female, duck is creepy and wrong, but that is just because it is him and he can't even eat popcorn like a normalish human.
