Id just like to take this chance on the cusp of the start of my working semester to thank everyone for a fantastic 3 weeks of holiday. it has been absolutely brilliant! There has been some low points, such as Alun having to come back from salford, but its better to look at the silver lining of this. we were able to have a great day in manchester, and broke some sort of group record for eating kfc within the group, and it was generally just fun. Also Al is gonna be able to look after Gavin 'till september when hopefully he'll be able to live in the wild again and feed him self.
Nicola, what a dear you have been and continue to be. I have basked in your soft warm glow for 3 solid weeks and its been splendid. Ill miss you loads when im back in cardiff, its not the same speaking over the phone, but rest assured ill be back in a few weeks to look after you!
Saturdays doo was amazing, i dont think there was a single soul not enjoying them self apart from gavin during his 45 min cleaning spell. but he soon got over that and came out with the cracking lines of "ben and mary" being the starters of all life on the planet (well it does sound a bit like adam and eve i spose... if your drunk and have your jaw wired shut... while trying to say ben and mary!). he also said how me nicola and our kid dave were his gold friends while hill was relegated to frankincense. He was in a biblical mood that night. Gavin also harped on about Phil and Les all night, and they do deserve some praise. They have hosted the partys and fed me. Without them there wouldnt be none of this, but probably alot less...
i could go on, and will in cardiff when i have my laptop back. please reply to this with your own highlights so we can patch together what actually happened over the last 3 weeks.
