ben is lovely
went to bens party last night. it was really good. i enjoyed myself and it was nice to see what a well rounded young man university life has turned yeti into. the highlight of the night however was witnessing gavins mum wind him up with an absolutly marvelous method, that she must have spent many years pefecting. Repated "why have you got a face on yer??!!" caused gavin to shy away from eye contact and go into his defensive position of putting his dead down and moving quikcly and quietly.
alun texting me asking for directions, but i didnt read this message till about 3 or 4 hours after he sent it casuing him to miss the party. im really sorry about this al, i feel guilty and i dont understand why my stupid fucking phone does this to me! im gonna have to go to the o2 shop and get the firmware upgraded like gavin suggested.
the best part of yesterday was undoubtly going to toys r us with nicola in the morning. nicola understood how important april 2nd was to me and despite suffering from one of the worst hangovers ive even seen, she still managed to awake at half 7, and make it to toys r us just before the doors opened at 9. getting into toys r us was a bit of a let down with most of the best figures not even there, obviously someone who works there likes collecting and so has just decided to keep the best figures for themselves. I was after clone troopers and a blue senate guard, toys r us had neither. further more, the only other seriousm collecting peer who was there was a bit rude, standing infront of the entire collection of figures refusing to move until he had everything he wanted. luckily nicola was hangover, and is quite impatient anyway, so she simply stood infront of him and picked up all the figures that he looked although he may be going to get. god bless her. we then proceeded to the entertainer in cheshire oakes. and hurrah i found a clone! just one, and i wanted to buy an armys worth. but it was a start. walking out we saw the same man from toys r us, so i was sure to make it clear i had the last clone trooper, and with him being one of those !1 of every figure" sorts, he would almost certainly have been upset with this! we also stopped at 2 woolworths (holywell and flint) and in an asda which was useless. id just like to thank her for joining me on the trip, which many would have laughed at, and for even donating and saving up a large amount of money for it! shes a dear.
later on in the day i went out hunting for the blue senate guard with gavin, al and hill. we visited 3 woolworths, connahs quay, broughton and mold. the trip was largely unsucessful, with me spending a tenner on petrol, and buying only 1 figure that i could have gotten from holywell anyway. but it was worth for the feeling we got pretending to be clone troopers on a recon mission...

(gavin then goes to open the car door and run into woolworths. he gets stuck opening the car door tho, and looks quite funny)
Id also like to thank Sean for going to the stock room in holywell woolworths at least 5 times for me, and jenny for lending me her discount card!
