March On
The weekend was very good. Excellent jams & hanging out at Josh's Friday and Saturday evenings. Stir Fry was fantastic, I made squid Saturday afternoon as well, will make more tomorrow.
Sunday morning up early to drive to Caldwell. The occasion being brunch for my Aunt's birthday. The place was a bit strange, but the food was very good with a wide selection, and they served champagne. I also managed to consume 14 cups of coffee and 4 large iced teas. The effects of this were felt unpleasently later. I think we were holding up a long lot of people as we were there for 3 hours...
Home in the early evening, and I was feeling severely influenced by caffeine. I ordered 2 pounds of yerba mate to give it an interesting whirl. Chatted with Ian and Don on the phone both breifly and seperatly. My mother was feeling ill so I made her tea and food on and off throughout the evening. She called out of work today in hopes that she'll get off Tuesday for a snowday as well. Didn't get to sleep until 4AM because it was simply physically impossible. Laying down my eyes were wide awake and I was constantly shifting, which eliminated listening to music and being perfectly still. I then decided to make an assload of patches on the nord modular and just fuck around with synths till the wee hours.
Classes today were good, and I was wide awake at 6AM. Drawing class was cancelled, and the rest of the classes sped by. Today I stayed home, read the Book of Songs, and the Analects by Confuscious to prepare for class tomorrow... should be an intriguing discussion.
And.... it is March already, February always to slip by almost unnoticed. Now to make some tea, shovel, and talk with Lenny.
PS: Everyone needs to watch the Lifetime original sson to be syphilis legend movie entitled She's Too Young. By far the best movie I have seen in 2005.
