Where to begin... Last weekend is semi-hazy, Ian was in NY half of the time, and I was with Josh on and off throughout the days.
During the week the inevitably difficult situaiton transpired with Rob in regards to his stolen guitar. A completely needless and senseless drama transpired that culminated in getting a large amount of nothing. So long as I'm kept out of it, I'll be glad. I also got the last of my birthday presents,
this lovely teaset.
School is as usualy largely uneventful and I find myself there everyday weekday doing absolutly nothing. My hatred for our education system is one feeling that I doubt will ever change. Money first, education second. Regardless of whether or not I have a degree or not, I'll surely apply for the first DPW position that opens up.
Anyway.... yesterday after classes I came home, ordered some dinner, went shopping for some clothes and beer for my dad, came home ate, then spent the evening with Ian & Josh. We hung out, chatted, got Indian, watched Koyaanisqatsi, and had a conversation with my sister in a drunken stupor which deeply disturbed me, but was enjoyable none the less. Deep sleep...
Up early this morning, waxed the floors etc etc etc, did some necessity shopping, made plans with Ian, did chores. Went to Nomahegan with Ian, brought some gongs and minidisc recorder set the microphones up in the woods and ran around with gongs. Unfortunantly the battery ran out before we could record the geese, ducks, and seagulls... but next time. When I got home I uploaded the recordings and listened to them, finding that even though there was barely a breeze preasent, it was more than enough to ruin large amounts of the recordings. On the next tranquil day...
After that disappointment, I went food shopping with my mom, unloaded said food, made soup, and have the rest of the evening set aside to finish a project I began towards the end of November. Tomorrow morning I need to rise early to write a paper, as well as cook my dad's birthday breakfast and take pictures of him in his sleep as per usual.
The coming of Spring needs to occur as quickly as possible.
