Thursday evening, Don, Ian, and myself went out to rummage through bulk on the North side of town. Good thing we did, got a shitload of books, I think it must have been Luke Swantek's own personal stash..... about 20 books with such amazing titles as "The Satanic Revival", "Satan and Rock Music", "Great Christian Musicals", and so on.
Bulk days weren't too bad, hurt my back a bit on Friday, but from awkward sleeping more than lifting ovens and the like. The last day was alright too, brought in 2 dozen bagels for everyone, and did nothing in the afternoon. Glad its over for now... I'll probably go back next year so long as we're getting payed in the $9-$10 range.
Yesterday spent most of the afternoon/evening with Don & Rob having an affair with glamour at the Menlo Mall, we stopped in just about every other store and just tore it up, like it was a fucking runaway. Got some Turkish tea, and Jethro Tull's Thick As a Brick. I also purchased a Bibleman VHS, aptly entitled "Lead Us Not Into Temptation".... which is beyond bad, go here for a sampling of Bibleman's heroic endevours as he uses his burning desire to know god shape his life and the lives of 8 year olds:
http://www.bibleman.com In just reading about his latest episode, Bbibleman seems to be waging a war against Animated Reconstructive Transport (A.R.T.)..... I feel this ART acronym is hardly a coinsidence, as it plainly states, ART is "a world where there are no rules, no faith, no hope and no future! " Whoa, god is really picking up the huge fight for faith in this one..... . . .. . ... . .. .absolutly terrifying.
Today went to a garage sale with Don & Ian, picked up a nice Asian cookbook and a drug encyclopedia for $5 total, he went off to a pudding wrestinly party with strippers, I stayed home, got some work done, Ian lost his mind at home no doubt. Also started a nice project for Don, entitled "Naptime Music For Children"... he'll play it for his kids at the daycare center, its about 1/2 done now, hoping to have it done for Wednesday for serious. There will be an alternate version of it too... with Don reciting some "choice words" over the music, but this won't be falling upon children's ears.. not at daycare at least.
The giant Olympic joint was extinguished before,... nice closing ceremony overall, didn't watch much of the Olympics much though. I did have a wonderful dinner though, made an omlet, 2 eggs, red & green peppers, yellow tomatos, pole beans, chives, and onions from the garden, with alittle horseradish cheese, and horseradish. Delicious. Time for bed, busy day tomorrow, at times.
