just got back from a very cool friday-saturday trip to the gunks matt and i took off right after school and got there and climbed for a bit. its a very shway place ahaha funny cartoon words. well we climbed and then went on a mission to find this infamous rock and snow to check it out it took us abotu an hour to find this shop which was really only 6 miles away but it was a very fun hour and then the video premere that we wanted to see at the new paltz campus cost 10 dollars so that was kind of disappointing so we drove the mini van to some parking lot and threw our sleeping bags in bag and crashed for the night ahaha i love being a homeless person for a night but thats only for one night. so we wake up at the crack of 9 in the now populated parking lot feeling slightly embarrassed but not so much and drove to the west trapps parking lot and parked in a very inocent seeming space and so we got out and hiked in the rain (i forgot to mention the rain) all the way to where we had been the day before but today we didnt get to climb because it was so wet but there were a few kids climbing aroud that we knew from either shaker or the gym including the infamous tom durant checked out the illustrious buddha and then headed back to the car which now this great parking spot was trapped by some asshole and so matt fucked up his side view mirror on a tree trying to pull out and then this guy shows up hes like "yeah that car in front of you wasnt there when i pulled in" which was total bs because the guy was parked there when we pulled in so it had to be ther for the guy behind us and then matt and i drove back and went to his house for a little while and now im home showered up and waiting for justin to get off work. damn it feels good to be free for a day or two.
