there's never enough time to do all the nothing you want
well i finished my first year of college successfully. spring semester ended quite nicely with four As and two Bs. went to port st. joe in florida for mother's day weekend. it was gorgeous despite the constant wind. i did nothing but sleep and read on the beach and ate good seafood. now i'm back in trussville, or leeds rather, for the summer. working on finding a job.
a bit of excellent news: the mustang is finally painted and it looks spectacular. we'll have it back in our hands by the weekend and then we have to get it over to danny the interior guy. i'll try to post pictures or you can see it for yourself at one of the drive ins this summer. they're on the third saturday of every month in the k-mart parking lot, though don't expect the mustang to be there this saturday. man, we bought the thing eight years ago and have been working on it ever since. it was supposed to be done for charlie to take to college. but, now, charlie won't part with his comaro so we're just going to have it to show off. we played with the idea of racing it, but once it crashed that would be end. oh, and most importantly, I CAN'T WAIT TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE IT!
