yesterday, i saw one of the coolest types of sticker graffiti i've ever seen. you know how people will tag their name on a bunch of stickers, and go around just slapping the stickers up, since it's less risky than taking the time to do a toss-up on the spot? well, this guy (or girl) did something like that. it was a US postal service mailing address label, but (s)he'd done a big, abstract graf blob in the middle, and above it in bold text, it said:
DON'T GET CAUGHT.
"i was dismantling the military-industrial complex" won't hold up in court.
below the little abstract blob o' graffiti were the following words, in smaller, less bold text:
graffiti is a beautiful crime.
today, i walked by it and the entire thing had been smeared and blurred by last night's pouring rain. i guess that this should be a lesson to all of us:
spray paint > stickers.
