I saw your first seagull post and forgot to comment, havent seen the rest. The bluebells are cool :)
Its all about the playing around, for every image I post, I have spent HOURS mucking around, trying and failing with different stuffs :) So long as you learn as you go and so much to learn :)
The Awake has a posted session on the 1st and 15th of each month and you get three modules - one which covers off the concepts of embracing art into your life and making part and parcel of what we do and are. Its not as annoying as you think actually, some sensible stuff about getting rid of timewasters and distractions.
Then the technical part is where a professional artists image is deconstructed and we go thru the steps of how it was built (this was the Urban Rain) part and thats REALLY useful.
There is some iphoneography stuff as well but im ignoring that for the moment.
Finally there is TRUCKLOADS of awesome content.
All that twice a month.
Plus access to the private FB group for support and ideas and help which has been super useful to me already.
