Dreams
I had two very strange dreams last night. I'm rather sure they were two separate dreams and not part of some continuous storyline, because I totally missed the bridge.
The first one I was not involved in. It was a somewhat standard demonic possession storyline with a head bad guy and assorted underlines who were doing bad things. I think mostly assorted murders and other crimes. The head bad guy was a detective or a police officer and the final scene I remember is another police officer cracking the case or whatever and some little old lady coming into his office, but I knew (from the perspective of having seen her before) that she was one of the bad guy's underlings. Did not end well. What frustrated me was that all of the murders or crimes happened in broad daylight with lots of witnesses. I didn't understand why there was this big mystery on who was doing the crimes. They didn't even know who the underlings were.
Anyway.
The second one involved a very, very large house. Mansion even. At night. I think there was some type of dispute or problem with the secession of royalty in the area. A monarchy. I think the dream was first person and I was either one possible heir to the throne, or I unlocked some secret in the house that made me the heir to the throne. There were heavy Harry Potter undertones, specifically with House Imps, which I think was my dream mind's rip off of House Elves. I ended up becoming the "King" according to whatever magical rituals governed the house/mansion. The House Imps followed my orders and I think this did not make other possible heirs happy. Someone else had been kidnapped and was being held hostage/prisoner. There were also Christmas undertones, I remember some type of Santa Claus outfit I had to wear.

For the record I only had two bottles of wine before going to bed.
