Tom Ryan stopped what he was doing and looked up to see his wife standing there. His brow perked a bit, last time he heard those words out of her mouth things went badly. Badly as in they spent two years apart with her plotting his death. The smirk on her face really didn't help much.
"The hell?"
"You lied to me Tom."
"What did I lie about Babygirl?"
He watched her foot tapping then and her arms fold across her chest. She knew that put him at ill ease and she loved using it against him. Though to anyone else but her he seemed not effected by it, but she could read him like a book backwards and forwards. She cleared her throat and raised a brow.
"Thomas Ryan what did you say when you left our house?"
"That I'd be gone for an hour tops."
"What time was that?"
"0300 Hours"
"What time is it now?"
Tom blinked at that and looked at the clock that read clearly a little after 0800 hours.
"Fuck."
"Not unless you get that ass of yours home before 0900 hours."
He watched as Katie headed out with a cheeky grin and his brow perked. He looked at what he had been working on and glanced up to where she had been. He muttered an 'Oh hell with this shit' and stood grabbing his keys. He got home and as soon as he walked in he found himself pulled into a kiss.
