general rules;
+ How does a LIMS Comm work?
- It begins with sign-ups for the current round, and end with voting for the first challenge. After that point, each week one or two people are voted out of the round based on the votes of constructive criticism of their submitted icon. You must enter every week unless you use a skip. Eliminations occur weekly until there is one iconmaker standing, the winner.

+ How do I participate?
- First you must be a member of the comm in order to participate and then once you are, you can sign-up and then must enter an icon every week that you are in the competition or use a skip.

+ How long does each challenge last?
- Each challenge lasts a week, 5 days for creating and submitting an icon, and two days for voting. When the challenge closes, the next challenge will be posted shortly after.

+ What's a skip?
- A skip is the ability to not enter for a challenge and not be eliminated. You are given one skip automatically when you join the round, and if you promote the community (during sign-ups) you gain an extra skip. When you are out of skips, you must enter a challenge or be eliminated for not entering.

+ Do I have to let you know what I'm using a skip?
- No, if you have any skips remaining and you do not enter an icon, I will automatically use your skip and will do so until you are out of skips. If you do not enter an icon into a round and do not have any skips to use, you will be eliminated from the competition.

submission;
+ How do I submit?
- You will leave a comment to the current challenge post with both the image and the url of your icon.

+ Can I change my mind about which icon I enter?
- Yes, you can edit, delete, and re-comment with a new icon up until the challenge is closed for voting.

voting;
+ How do I vote?
- You will be voting off the least favorite icon(s) of the week and voting for your favorite icon(s), giving a reason as to why you vote for an icon as your least favorite. Reasons for your favorite icons are optional.

+ Do I have to vote?
- Yes, voting is a requirement if you are a participant.

+ Can I vote for myself?
- No.

+ If I get eliminated can I still vote?
- Yes, you are encouraged to still participate in voting until the end of the current round.
