Post Thanksgiving Thoughts
Another Thanksgiving come and gone...
Haven't spent much time on LJ- I've been trying to write for NaNoWriMo instead! There are only 5 days left in November, so I know I won't have 50K words in time, but I think this has been a good experience. Having only written short stories up until now, I realize just how difficult it is to string together a comprehensive plot that lasts more than a few pages. Perhaps I shall try again next year and actually succeed! :)
I have also been thinking about what I should quilt next. Being the oldest in my family and extended family means that I haven't had a chance to try out my cool giraffe project yet :P No one is having babies! Not yet anyway... I have always loved simple designs and this caught my eye... I love the crisp white against the hexagons. Hmm... maybe it is time to hit up the library's craft section!
