Going crazy...

It's funny- as soon as I started following a few artists/communities I stopped posting my own entries!  Sometimes I just get a little overwhelmed by how much cool stuff other people are doing.  It becomes more fun for me to watch others' creative works instead of making my own.

Thus, it is with much effort that I will endeavour to start posting here regularly again.  Actually, I'm hoping it will be easier for me to do this soon since quite a few things will be happening in my life!  I have pretty much been couch-bound for the past 4 months due to knee injuries, but starting October 5 I will be (hopefully) up and about again.

Things I have to look forward to:

1. Shopping with my husband to buy a permanent home in Orange County
2. Completing my quilt (only a few stitches left until I take it for long arm quilting!)
3. I have made a friend who is also into quilting- we plan on entering a quilting competition together
4. My family will be coming out for Thanksgiving.  This means I am responsible for the big turkey dinner!  This also means there will be lots to prepare :)

I got quite a bit of reading done while I was laid up- here is one of my new favorite quotations from Christopher Fry's "The Lady's Not for Burning":

One day I shall burst my bud
Of calm, and blossom into hysteria
